I'd say your use and choice of flat colours, it's difficult to describe but to use an example: Your Metal Sonic drawing uses two shades of red on the feet rather than simply shading one darker.
on that note the shadows, highlights and glow in several of your pics are excellent!

thanks for your feedback! I'm glad my color choices aren't completely appalling i worry about that constantly
